“Get ready for great change; things are going to change.”
I was spending time with the Lord the other day and I heard Him say “Get ready for great
change; things are going to change.” I thought to myself, "Really? We have been through so
much change since 2020."
the change He was talking about was good change!
I then began to realize that the change He was talking about was good change!
I knew I was to position myself for what was coming and lean into God. Not only was
this change to be external but also internal.
Some people do not like change. However, we are in a world that seems to be forever changing.
The Word tells us we are changing every day.
"Therefore, we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So, we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."
2 Corinthians 4:16
"Therefore, I urge you brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God – this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will." Romans 12:1-2
Even though the Word says God does not change, He does do a new thing. He makes a way in the wilderness ( (James 1:17, Isaiah 43:19).
We must allow God to go deeper in us
We must allow God to go deeper in us.
We need to invite Him into the chambers of our hearts so he can take us to new levels of wisdom where He gives us keys to navigate and overcome in times of change and perpetual change and renewing.
As we mature and become more like Him. We learn to grow in not taking up offense., especially when things change around us. We learn to take the keys of watching our words and thoughts and guarding our hearts and we give Him
permission to mould us and to help us operate in a more selfless way.
This is how we navigate change.
Not everything happening is "about me" but when we understand what spirits are in operation behind circumstances around us we can know that God is giving us His Kingdom strategy in circumstances and situations.
This is how we navigate change. This is how we overcome. And this is how we become more like Jesus.
We renew our minds day by day with His Word and apply the treasures of His Word in how we live out our lives, our responses and reactions. We position our heart, thoughts and words to allow His way to change us internally.
There is nothing that can compare to being able to allow the King to do His work in you as He transforms you and changes you into the version of you that He wrote about in your destiny and how He sees you!
Father, I pray for everyone reading this blog that they will have a hunger and desire to grow and to be more like You. Father I thank You for going before and helping each of us to navigate our way through change and to help us change to be more like You. Bring us to that place of abandoning self and allowing Your Holy Spirit to consume us and take the wheel. Your love transforms us as we use the keys You give us and apply them to every situation in our life.
As we go into our future, may we walk forward in Your ways, Your keys and embracing Your wisdom. Amen.
